We enjoyed our one night stay at the NH Vienna Airport in late September prior to catching an early morning flight out. You can literally walk across the street to the hotel, which has a beautiful lobby and bar area. Our room was in the older wing of the building, but was spacious and very functional. Would stay here again, especially prior to outbound flights.

I stayed at the NH Vienna Airport hotel on 10 October (Executive room) and again on 16 October (Superior room). As some other reviewers, I was concerned about some of the negative postings but didn't have a choice due to early morning flights out of Vienna. To my surprise I found the hotel to be very good. Whilst the Superior room was furnished in what can't be better described as a mock Viennese style - not very nice but adequate for the rate charged. As far as noise or cleaniness was concerned, the room was absolutely spotless and very quiet, despite overlooking the runway.
The Executive room on the second stay was quite wonderful - contemporary design, lots of space, and again very clean and quiet. The breakfast really must be one of the best hotel bargains I've ever experienced, with a level of choice I have not experienced very often. I'll have to stay in Vienna again overnight shortly and will not hesitate to book this hotel.
As far as the previous negative comments are concerned, I assume that people booked standard rooms, so they are probably best avoided considering that the rate difference to the other room types doesn't seem to be very high.

I went to Vienna for business and had no options: the hotel was booked by company. I was scared by some of the posts on this site but this hotel is simply great. I don't know why there are so different opinions, may be there are two parts of hotel but my stay was excellent. The hotel is just in front of the airport, you can't be closer. The room was big, spotlessly clean and very well designed. You have everything one may need and even small chocolate in the evening. There is no any noise inspite of airport is just 100 meters away. The room is airconditioned. The buffet breakfast is great. I am really surprised this hotel is 3 star rated because it has nothing to envy to sheraton or Sofitel. You even have sauna and fitness center open till late. I can't say any one thing which is wrong. I don't know the price of the room as it was prepaid. The only thing is that it is not at Vienna center (there are buses and trains to go there) and Internet is not free as it was posted on this site. Otherwise everything is simply perfect.

I had a really great stay here. It is literally just outside the airport arrivals area. The room was very modern. Free internet connection which saved me about 15 Euros and good value generally. Good for business travellers.
