I was booked for the European Geological Congress. This hotel is marvelous for business and leisure purposes. The give you a complimentary ticket for public transport for the whole stay.

The rooms are equipped with bright wood panels and have a very modern touch.

Canadians in Europe - Europeans are very friendly to foreigners, especially the staff of this hotel. The location is perfect for shopping purposes, as well as cultural interest. Simply pass by the front desk, they'll help you and give you directions.

Vienna is to nice to just visit it once - we will come again.

This hotel ist awesome. They grant you a complimentary ticket for public transportation during the whole stay for the whole city. We have been in Vienna for only 6 days, but you'll have to stay at least 2 weeks. The breakfast buffet is charges at EUR 13,00 per person but offers everything you might need - even pancakes where you have to pay at some cafe at least 4,50
The location of the hotel is directly at the main shopping street and running the metro is just 5-7 minutes to the center, right around the corner !!!
The ticket is unbelievable - I've never heard about something similar, but the front office staff told me about the InterCityHotels - mainly in Germany, but "my" one in Vienna.

Visit it - you'll love it

We stayed at the intercity hotel for one week in december. The rooms were spacious, cosy and clean. The location was excellent - in a main shopping area, and not far from the main tourist attractions in vienna. For those who do not like to walk there is also a metro stop and a tram stop just in front of the hotel so it made travelling so easy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good - a great choice of everything - cereals, fruits, eggs, bacon, cheeses, breads, jams, salad, cake......everything.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and would return there if we visit vienna again.
