I just stayed two nights in Vienna at the Roomz Vienna, my parents had an additional room, and my brother and his friend a third room.
All in all it was a very nice hotel; clean and very "chic". As mentioned above, the shower is somewhat open, only a clear glass piece to separate the shower stall from the sink, (only 3 walls overall). The shower water pressure was excellent, but I wasn't crazy about the open-ness of the shower as I flooded the sink area a bit...
One major surprise and disappointment was the breakfast charge. When I booked through hotels.com the amenities listed breakfast, did not say anything about fees or surcharge (the restaurant, which was where breakfast was served was listed separately) and other amenities which cost extra were indicated as such. The hotel literature mentioned breakfast times and then the times the restaurant was opened, not mentioning anything about the cost for breakfast. Further, there was nothing posted in the breakfast area to indicate any cost for the breakfast, and it was set up buffet style. As I booked it under the assumption of the free breakfast, and was not given any indication otherwise, I was quite shocked when we were charged 13,50 euro each person, each day for breakfast (It ended up costing 108 Euro when we checked out) and in my opinion, that breakfast was not worth that much money. We realized we had spent more on breakfast for the two days than we spent on dinner!
If we had known that they would have charged us that much, we wouldn't have eaten there, as the hotel is located right next to Gasometer City, which is basically a huge mall with numerous restaurants and cafe's.
