This hotel is situated in a nice peaceful location far away from Oslo
itself (close to the previous airport, Fornebu). It even has a nice private beach and some nice jogging tracks nearby. The hotel is
"turned the wrong way" so the backyard is towards the Oslo fjord. hat
a pity! Had a room without a sea view, a real single room with only a
small bed. There were no drawers and no closets in the room! Just a coat hanger. I have never seen anything like it. Ordered an entrecote
from room service which was delivered raw instead of medium. Asked for an iron and some additional hangers. They forgot about the hangers, so I left some of mine in the room instead for the next guest to use. I can only pity this hotel. The receptionist was nice though.

Whilst the staff at the hotel were very helpful and the breakfast was good, unfortunately the room was very poor. Not only was the bedside light broken and the room decor looked liked it hadn't changed since the 70s, the bed was also very uncomfortable. Like the previous reviewer, I too am not convinced over the cleanliness of the bedsheets.

Another word of warning, a late night taxi from Oslo Airport to this airport cost over the equivalent of 140 euros.

I'll go straight to the point, the problem with this hotel is the location. It is not in Oslo it is at about 25 km from Oslo city centre and it is not even within walking distance from the nearest train station. They only way to Oslo city centre is a bus and it takes around 35 mins to get there.

Other than that, the hotel is fine, although I was not convinced of the cleanliness of the rooms, the room itself was not dirty but the bed linen smelt of sweat (and it wasn't mine).

The room in general was confortable and well appointed their staff very helpful and courteous and the food at their restaurant very good. The breakfast selection wasn't extraordinary but sufficient.

A bit disappointing compared to other hotels in the same chain.

This hotel is in the business district in Lysaker. My wife was there on a business trip and I joined her at the end of the trip. We were lucky as we managed to get 1 of the 5 double beds in the hotel as they obviously cater for the single business traveller. The hotel has a nice beachfront on the fjord and the trees outside were beautiful with the autumn leaves. If you're in Oslo in business and visiting an office nearby it's fine otherwise stay in the city centre. Lysaker train station is about a mile away.
