Location is good just behind the old Bryggen quarters, although it also means that there are no sea view from the rooms. Otherwise a good hotel given that it was built in the 1980s; many facilities and a huge breakfeast. One disappointment, though; when we arrived at 10.30 pm, hungry after a long train journey from Oslo, there were no food anywhere in the hotel. Apparently, the hotel has no room service during the nights!

The Radisson in Bergen was the last stop on a two week visit to Scandanavia. The hotel was very disappointing because our room was not particularly clean, but the biggest issue was the bathtub that overflowed when it was being drained.

When I called about it, they explained that it was due to small drain pipes. The person who came to our room to clean up the mess said it was caused by hair that had collected in the drain for years. Yuck!

The location is good, but overall we found the hotel not up to our standards. The hallways walls were in need of cleaning and the place was dark.

Stayed at this hotel in June this year. Hotel is in good position in the Bryggen and within walking distance of some excellent restaurants and fish market.

On the downside the hotel itself could do with an update and not worth the rate it charges. Our room was a little worn and in need of some new furniture....bathroom, gloomy! A positive for this hotel was it's breakfast, which was buffet style with plenty of choice. If I were asked to recommend a hotel in Bergen it would not be this one!

Hotel is perfectly located and blends nicely in with the surrounding historic part of Bergen. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained but they have stuffed too much into them and it is difficult to move around. Bathroom is good but not sensational and breakfast I found chaotic and poorly laid out. Food was good though and I will probably stay again the next time I visit Bergen.
