We booked our stay here through the fjord pass and received it for about the same price as the cheapest hotel we could find in the city. The rooms were great including a range, fridge, microwave, separate, curtained off bedroom.

The location is fantastic with close access to all of the city's main attractions and many restaurants and bars. Having a kitchen facility was a nice respite from the high prices of everything in Oslo, we still spent almost 50 dollars on a taco dinner, but it lasted us two meals.

The hotel is clean and very stylish in the rooms, but the breakfast is given in a nightclub that still smells of the night before.

Bergen is a very expensive city.
We decided to live in INCITY simply becasue it was cheap but hey, you get cheap quality at cheap prices!

We experienced this on the first day at INCITY. We were given an apartment with disappointing views on the fifth floor. It is the only floor where smoking is allowed, this meant that the room smelt of smoke even though it looked very clean.

Here is the best part: We complained about this and the girl at the reception upgraded us to a double room apartment for the next 4 days!!!
That smashing apartment was on the 7th floor. It had views to die for. It had a window where you could see the Church and the hills and the road below. It was a magical room. The best part is, she did not charge us for the upgrade!
It is a lovely apartment. You get all the pots and pans. The pillows are good as well. You wont get a double bed, you will have to settle for twin beds!
Again it was very clean.

INCITY is based in the city. Everything is walkable. I recommend Pepe's Pizza.
The breakfast in the morning is not that great (They ran out of boiled eggs one day! but then again it is free!

I will definately recommend the apartment on the 7th floor but not otherwise!

They didn't have my reservation when I arrived. Good thing I had the email confirmation with me. It turned out the guy behind the desk telling me I didn't have the reservation was the same person who wrote the email. We had a 2 room apartment with 2 extra beds. The 2 extra beds turned out to be a single pull out couch. Not too comfy. Poor ventilation so we kept the windows open. There was a street party all night. At 3:30am they started banging garbage cans. Breakfast was good but get there early, they don't restock. Rough part of town, I think families should stay on the other side of the harbor.

We loved InCity Aparments in Bergen. We had a deluxe two room apt for 2 people for 3 nights. With a Fjordpass discount, it worked out to $205/night at the current exchange rate. The rooms are clean, look new and are very contemporary. It had a kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, stocked with dishes etc. The living room was spacious, the bedroom not much bigger than the two twin beds in it.
The location is superb, 1/2 block to the pedestrian shopping street, 4 blocks to the tourist information center then one more block to Bryggen. On the same block as InCity is TGIF, Peppes Pizza, and the 'moderate' Wessel-Stuen restaurant recommended by Frommers. A meal for two at these three restaurants ranged from $71 to $124 for us. The train station and bus terminal is a ten minute walk.
You have to pay for your entire stay when you checkin. There is one elevator. A typical Scandinavian breakfast buffet is included. The desk clerks were quite helpful and spoke good English. There is a laundry room, it costs 25 kronor to do a load, but the machines run slow, after 2.5 hours wash and dry my load of clothes was still not dry. There are no phones in the building.
Be aware, when you leave your room you have to lock it from the outside using your key card.
For Internet you can use PCs at the public library by the train station, or use WiFi at TGIF or Peppes Pizza with your own device.
We enjoyed our stay and recommend InCity to you.

We got a really nice apartment....large living/kitchen area, bathroom, and bedroom.....it was clean, neat, and a little bit stylish-looking. The windows opened out onto the MAIN outside public gathering place in Bergen, which was quite a lot of fun.

The TV available for free was TERRIBLE, and the remote had vanished....we mentioned it to the desk, but they just shrugged their shoulders.

We partially defrosted the freezer compartment for them, without which the freezer would soon have shorted out......

The location of the only soap in a dispenser NOT over the sink and NOT in the shower was a little weird.....

The first two days breakfast was good, though the coffee was only lukewarm.

But the third day, a Saturday, the restaurant just didn't open up.....we had to get the young woman behind the hotel desk to go up there and see what was what....I think she was in there making the coffee herself.....eventually they found some people, made some breakfast, and it was okay, but we waited a long time.....

No chambermaid service was provided the second day, despite the fact that we hung out the Please Could We Have Clean Towels sign.....

All that said, it was large, clean, light, and in a GREAT location. It was fun having a kitchen and living area.....
