Holcombe House is situated in a quiet street just a 2 minute walk to the famous promenade at Llandudno in North Wales. It offers top quality bed and breakfast in a fantastically restored Victorian Town House.
I did not book as we were passing through, however, when I knock on the door and asked if there were any rooms available I was met with a friendly response from the proprietors Tony and Karen who were genuinely happy to help.
The house has just undegone a refurbishment, all the rooms are of a high quality and tastefully decorated, light and airy. No expense has been spared with the furnishing, this lends itself to the feeling your are staying in a luxury guest house which could top any hotel standard if it were trying to!!!
The rooms are well equiped( tea and coffee facilities,tv. dvd, soft towels!!!) the bathroom clean and fuctionable.
There is a magnificent lounge area for guests to use which is useful, although most rooms have chairs in them if you prefer some privacy.
Breakfast is FANTASTIC!!! Karen has prepared fresh fruits ( strawberries, blueberry, melon, mango) organic and greek yoghurts, cereals and a full welsh breakfast with top quality ingredients. A vegetarian option is readily available. All is served with a person feel from the proprietors.
I would throughly recommend a visit if you are in the area. I shall be returning for a second visit soon.
