This was our 5th stay at the Kinmel and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived to when we left we were treated as part of the family. There are more staff than on our previous visits but they have all taken on board the Kinmel ethos that 'The guests comes first'. We stayed two nights over a week-end with a group of friends, eight in all and we had dinner in the hotel on the Friday night. What a lovely meal it was too, the head waiter is still one of the best. ( well done Edward ). All in all the Kinmel just gets better, and now thy have bought the adjacent hotel, I can see them getting even better. We have already booked for next year. In short a good, clean, friendly, family run hotel.

The hotel was clean and had adequate sized room for family of three (three year old). The staff were more than helpful arranging a cake for my mother's Birthday. We also had an evening meal the first night which we were pleasently suprised with. As we were the only ones eating we were a bit worried but the food was tasty and served really hot. The veg was quite soft but we like that and the apple pie and custard was superb. Hotel situated in central position for beach, shopping and pubs. Plenty to do and see for our family. Cosy bar in hotel, also a seperate lounge area with wide selection of videoes to choose from. Some bedrooms also had videos. Both our family bedroom and double room (for grandparents) were very clean and cleaned every day. Plentiful supply of milk and biscuits provided in room. Would certainly return in the future.

We have just spent 3 nights at this hotel with our 13 year old daugher. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere and you are made to feel at home the minute you walk through the door.
The room was a spacious family room, very clean and pleasant decor. The bathroom was clean, bright and a good size. We were given the sea view we requested and bottled water in the room which was a nice extra touch.
All staff were friendly and efficient and ready to help with any request we had.
The hotel owners are lovely and have good local knowledge for restaurants and general tourist information. There is a very nice bar area with a lovely view out to sea and reasonable bar prices.
The breakfast was great and a good choice of menu with excellent service.
The room price was very reasonable and there was free parking available to rear of hotel.
Overall a great hotel and lovely holiday.

This hotel is very well situated on the Central Promenade, 2 mins from the shops and 5 mins from the pier.

We did not get a friendly greeting on arrival, but registration forms were slapped down on the desk and we were asked to pay the balance immediately. I refused until we had seen the rooms and the bill was corrected to the price we had booked 8 months earlier.

There are 5 steps up to the hotel and you have to carry your own cases up a lot of stairs to the rooms and meals are served at basement level, so this hotel is definitely not for the infirm.

Rooms were clean and adequate with a few nice extras like bottles of water. It was extremely quiet at night. Breakfast service was excellent and much more friendly than reception staff.

Llandudno is a great place to stay, so much to see and do, public transport is excellent and quite cheap compared to other parts of GB, but I doubt I would stay at this hotel again as there never was any warmth shown as the week progressed, chief concern seemed to make sure guests paid up as quickly as possible.
