We arrived and had to lug all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. when we returned for a drink at 10pm the hotel was locked up. We rang the door for 15 mins then rang the hotel phone. We were told the door combination was on our room key. Staff had all left Bar was closed. No staff at all on the premises after 10pm I shudder to think what would happen in the event of fire.

after staying here last year we knew that we could expect a good clean standard of accommodation and a good service.

We werent disaapointed to say the least upon arrival we noticed that they had been some additions to the hotel itself, there was now a bar on site, a lounge and a 42 inch plasma screen TV in the wall!!!

The room we stayed in was clean and tidy as we expected and breakfasts were cracking!! Another plus point was that they had started serving afternoon meals as well which is one thing that put us of last time we stayed, we had to go out each evening to find somewhere decent to eat.....now need now : )

The staff were friendly and the new barman is a credit to them.

Have already booked again for the next show at north wales theatre( hotel is about 2mins walk from theatre door) and am looking forward to going back again, would highly recomend this place as your not going to find better value for money anywhere else as local to the theatre.

one of the best value hotels ive stayed at in a long time and we travel around a lot.

I stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights over the Christmas holidays. It has a fine promenade location, not a quick stroll to the town centre, but this did not matter as it is a short drive. Having read the previous reviews I was hesitant but decided to take a chance, I'm glad I did. My partner, our 2 year old and myself were provided with a family room which comprised a double bed and two single beds. A cot would be provided if required. The room was spotless. with plenty of run around room for our lively 2 year old little boy. The bathroom was spacious, two bath towels, 2 hand towels and soap provided. I agree the hot/cold water was difficult to balance and we suffered extra hot water shocks more than once. The TV did not work due to a severed connection but this did not bother us as we did not come to Wales to watch TV. I was surprised our room was not serviced or fresh towels replaced but we did not complain as we were only there for two nights. The room was very well heated which was welcome as the weather was extremely cold. Full "English" (Welsh) breakfast was plentiful, service very pleasant and a high chair provided. All in all, I liked the Manor Hotel and would have no hesitation in staying again. However, it is a small hotel and the shortcomings we experienced should not happen as they are easily rectified....in advance of a clients arrival. I work in the travel/tourism industry and like to experience accommodations in all class categories. The Manor Hotel could be a little gem, given proper attention by the owners, I beleive it will.

Thought the previous reviews were correct when I walked in the front door and saw the carpets had still not been swept, but there were workmen busy there. My room (12) had brand new carpets and furniture so the refurbishment is under way. Some of my colleagues had not new yet, some had. My bathroom although internal did have an extractor fan.
Service good and friendly, food nothing special.
Looks as though there might be some hopes yet!
Have stayed in around a dozen different hotels on the promenade at Llandudno and this one has far fewer faults than many of the others.
