“The best yet!”

St. Hilary Hotel

24 Jul 2008

We stayed four nights and were thrilled with our choice of accommodation. Anne-Marie and Howard run a lovely guest house, where nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms spotless, with the drinks sachets being refilled daily - even the hot chocolate sachets, which is a plus when you don't drink tea or coffee. The position at the quieter end of the seafront is perfect, and the view is spectacular. If you're looking for a place to stay in Llandudno then we highly recommend the St Hilary to you.

“The perfect B&B!”

St. Hilary Hotel

We booked this delightful B&B after reading the reviews,as usual Tripadvisers community was correct again!Ann-Marie was there to greet us with her lovely smiley face!Had a chat about this and that ,showed us the room at the front overlooking the sparkling blue sea.She explained all to us i.e the shower,T.V,breakfast times etc.The room was immaculate including the shower room.Well equiped, everything was how you wanted it including 2 chocolate eclair sweeties!
Down to breakfast,I'm awake but not with it at 8.45 am but again AM smiley face, was there to greet us.Nothing is too much trouble for her.Off she went to get the tea and I looked for the sugar on the table..couldn't see it so turned to get the small packets from the next empty table, said sorry but I couldn't see the sugar and had to raid the next table. She gently said here is your sugar ,it was hiding behind the little flower pot and I didn't see it!(a fall through the floor moment but it didn't faze Am at all, other guests thought it was funny!!
We stayed 2 nights and we would say ,stay here!It was really lovely and Howard ,your breakfast was divine. The full Monty or what ever you want.Tasty ,well cooked...a real treat. The lady next to us wasn't well and when her breakfast came .she couldn't face it...no problem Am took it away with no fuss and quietly asked the lady could she get her anything else. It's the sort of place that you really feel that Ann-Marie and Howard really DO care that you enjoy yourselves and make you feel very welcome

A lovely spotless place, howard met us as we arrived and ann-marie we met later, the bedroom was lovely and clean, plenty of tea/coffee/sugar etc with the hospitality tray, and what a fantistic veiw we had, the sea was like a mill pond, the following morning at breakfast the choice was brill, My husband had the full breakfast, I chose the friut platter, plums, grapes, tagarine, melon, kiwi, yougurt endless rounds of toast/jam/,marmalade etc and tea/coffeee by the teapot full, a very pleasant stay.

“Our favourite hotel !!!”

St. Hilary Hotel

4 Nov 2007

The St Hilary Hotel on the promenade in Llandudno is our favourite UK hotel!!
We have stayed MANY times in recent years and have been impressed every time.
Howard and Anne-Marie are supreme hosts ; they are always friendly, helpful and 'go the extra mile' to ensure a great holiday.
The rooms are clean and inviting--we personally prefer the ones overlooking the bay.
The breakfasts are brilliant! be it a typical English version or the healthy option.
We really couldn't rate this hotel any higher--you simply must visit for a truly great holiday experience.
