“Great!”

Spent the night here after an excellent meal in the restaurant.

Our room was in the block opposite the hotel entrance and was well equipped and comfortable. The triple glazing and separation from the main hotel meant that we were not disturbed by noise from the Christmas party that was taking place.

Breakfast was fantastic - fresh orange juice, cereals, fresh fruit, etc., etc. and a nicely cooked 'Full English'.

Staff were friendly and attentive.

The only negative comment I would make was that the car park was muddy.

Just returned from an overnight stay at the Pinewood and it was not great.
The first room we were given had a dreadful loud on and off humming noise, we were then upgraded to the room next to it , which was in fact a nicer and larger room, but the noise was worse and the carpets dirty and badly stained.
when I reported this to reception they told me no one had ever complained about this before, suggesting in their tone that I was imagining the noise. We were then moved again to an annexe building that was quieter, the electric bed was broken but there was no way we fancied moving again. However we wish we had because in the morning we discovered the cleaning staff's office was right outside our bedroom door and from 6am onwards we had to listen to loud conversations outside our door.
When we checked out I asked the reception staff did they discover what the noise was and the told me a bearing had gone in the a/c unit and that the did not belive me the day before, they also did not offer an apology or a discount for the moving around.
we have stayed in six different hotels this week and this is the only one that offered poor service and very poor value for what you receive.

I liked this hotel. It is a very new construction, located in the Slough countryside and set out into blocks. The reception and dining room/bar is smart, well set out and with plenty of big windows. The reception is 24 hour which is good news as I checked in after a wedding at 1am no problem.

The room I stayed in was very nice with a double aspect window view. The dcor was very smart and modern (that must have been completed very recently). The was also a good flat screen TV, mini bar and bathroom.

The hotel is set in pretty and quiet countryside and there is a very beautful fountain in the grounds to see.

All in all a good stay. It is a good luxury stop over hotel if you are visiting the nearby area.

Recommended this hotel by a friend as we were visiting Legoland. Booked from hotel website with a summer offer of a Family room, dinner bed and breakfast for £119 which I thought was good value. They do offer packages including Legoland tickets but I had already exchanged Tesco clubcard vouchers for mine. The hotel is modern. Receptionists very helpful. Evening meal was lovely. Good choice of hot and cold food for breakfast. My only complaint being that the cold food was not covered and a fly was buzzing around! Set in nice grounds and easy to get to.

After having had a few "dodgy" hotels, we are always scepticle about where we've booked, as photos arn't always the truth!
But this was lovely, very nice, nice staff & a lovely restaurant.
Very good value, easy to find & not really in Slough. Would defenately recommend.
