We have just returned from a lovely short break at the Stuart House Hotel in Scarborough. We had a fantastic time!!! The B&B is spotlessly clean and well maintained and the owners are on hand to ensure you make the most of your stay. It has a true 'home from home' feel. Breakfasts are fantastic, very plentiful to start your day of exploring Scarborough. They are also great with kids, my girls (9&6) were always made to feel welcome. Location is great too, close to the castle with fantastic views of both the North and South Bay but only a 5-10 min walk down to either seafront. Scarborough as always retains it's true 'English seaside town spirit'. Definitely a holiday and B&B we will return to!!

Just returned from a long weekend in Scarborough. We stayed at the Stuart House Hotel where we were made to feel very comfortable. We were made to feel like part of the family, not strangers. The breakfasts were very large with plenty of choice, and the evening meals were even better.
The rooms were large clean and tidy and the views were splendid.
Children were very welcome and even borrowed bucket and spades.
We have already booked our next stay in the summer.

It is a warm and friendly hotel.Great sea views and nice comfy rooms. All the family will make you welcome.A good selection of games to play and books to read when the weather is bad.a good choice for breakfast in a pleasent dining room, and seconds if your lucky and if you could eat it. If you like ghosts book a room on the top floor. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.
It was mothers day when we were there ,and all the women got a box of chocolates.
The only downside to this hotel is they allow smoking in the small lounge which is not very nice for non-smokers.
