My recent stay at The Mansion Hotel was delightful. And from it's entrance you couldn't get a better panoramic view of it's South Bay, harbour and the castle anywhere else in Scarborough.

I was offered a complimentary glass of wine on arrival by a very efficient but friendly young woman. (sorry I didn't ask your name) She made me feel welcome without being intrusive. I was left to enjoy the wine in the elegant lounge, and asked to ring a bell in the hall if I wanted anything. The hotel has a very high standard of cleanliness throughout, this is a must for me and I was very impressed.

My room was stylishly decorated and had a flat screen television with freeview, a digital radio, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The bottle of spring water alongside the tea and coffee was welcome and a thoughtful touch.

There was plenty of choice for breakfast, and good quality food. All the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Thanks to you all.

I was born in Scarborough, but no longer live there. I have visited twice a year for the past seven years for my nostalgia fix!...The Mansion Hotel will be my choice in the future.

Our second visit.This time we had a room with a sea view..Great.Staff very friendly and efficient.Breakfast excellent.We'll certainly visit again.

Before booking MansionHouse I checked the Trip Advisor which is very useful. The Hotel is excellent, located in a superb location in front of the sea. You can walk to the town center, about 15 minutes. We were placed in a familiar room, at the top. Breakfast and staff were excellent. We had no dinner. Rooms are clean. Very friendly hotel!

Excellent hotel superbly run and spotlessly clean. We were in room 11 which was superb with the only complaint being that there was noise from the adjacent room through the adjoining wall (a minor issue at that) breakfast superb and view from our guest room brilliant. Did not take the evening meal but menu looked great. Having stopped in other Scarborough hotels this one is miles and miles ahead of the rest.
