We stayed at Alexandra House in March.for two nights.We were offred a cup of tea in the comfortable lounge when we arrived, which was accompanied by a delicious piece of fruit cake. Our room was spotless and comfortable,the bathroom likewise. There were numerous thoughtful little refinements,such as the array of locally produced jams and marmalade, which accompanied our ample breakfast. The house is well situated and the town centre is about 15 minutes away on foot. The south cliff gardens have delightful walks and are even nearer. David and Carol did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

From the moment we arrived,Dave and Carol made sure we were well looked after.Lovely touches such as tea and cake when we arrived most welcomed after the drive.
Room was really clean and well presented .Carol made the drinks tray in our room the best we have ever seen with so much choice and lovely biscuits too!!!
Breakfast was great and plentiful,good local produce and really well cooked,loads of jams and marmalades to try,
Will be going back to stay again that is for sure.

This hotel was great. We had really friendly welcome with coffee and cakes on arrival. Room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were top notch. Carol and Dave went out of their way to make it a good stay. Terrifc value for money and it's in a good location for the Esplanade and South Bay beaches
