My wife and I booked this hotel at short notice for one night as i was working in Scarborough over the weekend, we got a good deal online, upon our arrival, one of the owners was busy with some other guests, but straight away acknowledged our arrival, and her husband came straight away to deal with us, I think this must have been the friendliest, quickest check in we have ever had, we went to our room which was nicely tastefully decorated, with good en-suite and colour tv and a superb sea view.
after settling in we went down to see if we could get a drink at the hotel bar, the owner was only to pleased to serve us and chatted with us while we sat and had a drink, his wife joined us soon after to see if everything was ok and we were happy with the room.
The fact that they took an interest in us as customers was superb and goes a long way in my book.
They had to attend to other jobs and left us in the bar telling us anything at all we wanted just to ring the bell.
we stayed there probably another 45 minutes or so, where the owner popped her head round the door a couple of times to see if we needed anything.Nothing was too much trouble.
Unfortunatley we didnt eat there as we had prior arrangements.
will definatley be staying again.
the service is simply the best
