I was very impressed with this hotel, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was lovely, and the room had a great view and was very clean and homely.
My only gripe is I asked for a wine bottle opener to open a bottle of wine in our room and returned it the next again morning. After checking out, I looked at my receipt and I had been charged £7.00 "bottle corkage". Quite cheeky seeing as the member of staff never informed us of this charge when giving us the opener, if he had I would have went to the local shop and probably got an opener for a £1 and been able to keep it! Despite this, I would definately stay at this hotel again and would recommend to others (but tell them to take a bottle opener!).

We just got back from Dunkeld and stayed at the Atholl Arms. We stayed in the Victoria Suite. The suite overlooks the river tay and has large windows so you can take in the scenic view.
We only stayed one night but next time we plan on making a package deal.
The food was very good. The menu gives you a great variety of choices.
We would recommend the Atholl Arms to friends and family.
Also, the staff are very pleasant and make you feel at home.

My husband and I stayed at the Atholl Arms on new years eve and were both very taken by this hotel. We have been to many hotels in our travels and this one sticks out by far. When we got to the hotel the first thing we noticed how much all the visitors were enjoying themselves. When we walked in to the lounge area we were greeted by a lady that made us feel very welcome (her name was Elizabeth) not only did she greet us with a smile, she made us feel at home. The hotel was full so you could imagine the energy there. The hotel was also done up for the holidays so that was also a nice added touch.
We then sat down and had a glass of wine. To our surprise there was a piper that came into the lobby (this was part of the new years eve package) and he played to all the guests. After a while the piper led us into the dining room for our meal. When we entered the dining room it was gorgeous. All done up! The meal was the icing on the cake. I can't say enough. The staff were on their toes making sure we were all happy.
After the meal, we went back into the lounge and enjoyed some drinks with some live entertainment.
I can't say enough about this hotel, next time my husband and I are visiting Scotland we will have Atholl Arms Hotel on our list for places to stay!
