Food - The food wasn't anything special - typical of mass production and slightly pricey for the quality and quantity.
Room - the usual attempt to update an older building.
Bathroom - first night one was not great and rubbish shower over bath, second night shower enclosure was much better.
Staff - most were polite and efficient. (see below)
Location - central to Worthing and very close to seafront.
When booking I asked for a quiet room as I always do - It turned out to be the noisiest room I have stayed in yet!
The hotel isn't very well soundproofed so I could hear all the talking, laughing and footsteps of everyone that came upstairs or from the lift and along the narrow corridor.
The room was next to the lift plus some kind of cooler or genarator which created a constant droning sound.
My room was hot but I couldn't open the windows due to there being a flat roof outside with a huge, noisy vent on it....
I rang reception at 9.30pm to express my dissatisfaction but was told they were fully booked (due to 2 coach parties of retired folk) and couldn't move me. I was moved the next night having stressed that I would check out to avoid staying in the same room any longer.
I was still charged the full amount and was ignored by the ignorant girl on reception when I queried it. I hasten to add that the rest of the staff I encountered were all polite and courteous.

On the whole my stay was dissapointing and not as good as I had hoped for.
