We recently stayed at Buxted Park as part of a wedding party for an over night stay.

We cannot fault this establishment at all. Everything was to a high and professional standard (even the shampoo was nice).

The service provided for the wedding was to an excellent standard and the staff throughout were all generally friendly.

We had no issues or problems to speak of and would recommend this place for a quiet weekend away.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and I only wish I'd stayed here during the summer and could have explored the gardens. The room was tastefully furnished and spacious, and had lots of little
touches that made it a very enjoyable stay..The staff are extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I didn't eat in the restaurant (room service was very good) but will definitely visit again and have the full dining experience. Such a pleasant change to find a hotel that really knows how to look after its customers.

My wife and I had our wedding at the Buxted in Dec 04, and we have to say the hotel was superb, and looked after our every need, the room was on the expensive side however was just what a bride and groom deserve on their special day. The wedding food and morning after breakfast was of a great standard. We would recommend this hotel not only for its comfort but also for the grounds and the fact its only 5-10 min drive to Ashdown forest.

We firstly arrived at the hotel after a very hard day's work and long drive. The hotel staff were lovely and despite missing the latest evening meal they laid out a buffet for the four of us which was really thoughtful. We had the opulent drawing room to ourselves and had a drink outside in the beautiful gardens as the mist came down. We then returned later in the week, accomodating a group of around 25 people, and everyone was very pleased, delighted, by the standards of room, food, service and the beautiful scenic grounds. I would imagine at weekends that weddings do fill the place out as it is a perfect setting, but on these weekdays it was very peaceful. The service all round was really great. I would thoroughly reommend this hotel for business and pleasure.
