Went to Gt Yarmouth recently for a short break, booked the hotel through a website. Very conveniently located for the seafront, liked the welcoming main entrance and encountered a very friendly receptionist. Our room was on the 3rd floor, ie. a little difficult to get to with there being no lifts in the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and fresh. The chairs and table were a bit old and the tiny TV was placed high up on a wall, very distant from the bed. Just as well I had my eyesight checked recently! The bathroom was extremely clean, but the shower stream was inadequate and weak.

The main restaurant was shut, so meals were taken in the garden terrace, which was reasonably comfortable. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and courteous. The evening meals, however, took a long time to complete - there seemed to be a long period between courses. I suppose the chef might have been busy, but the restaurant itself was not full by any means.

Overall, had a good time and a comfortable stay. The staff must be commended for their friendliness and professionalism.

Excellent Family Friendly Hotel, This was the first time I had ever been to Great Yarmouth and wasn't really sure what to expect. My Husband myself and our 6 year old daughter stayed in a family room for three nights at the Comfort Hotel and it was marvellous! I have to say all staff we had contact with were very friendly and professional and nothing seemed to be too much trouble at all. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels each day and the food was excellent. We would definately stay here again.

We returned to the Comfort Hotel again this summer. We were ther last year whenit was called the REGENCY DOLPHIN HOTEL. It was good to see that the refurbishment had continued. The reception area all very tastfully decorated, the old fashioned tiles outside have been replaced with new.

The boys (aged 5 & 6) loved the hotel, the swimming pool etc of course it helped that hte weather was good & there is loads to do in the area. The hotel staff were great with the kids, our room was comfortable & no-one seemed to mind the mess 2 small boys made.

We are looking forward to returning
