“A Lovely Friendly Welcome!”

After a long and tiring journey from London,we were so happy with Sue's lovely welcome. Our rooms were so comfortable with facilities that were not normally found in most other places---chocolates,biscuits and an ample selection of drinks. After a comfortable nights sleep,we were served a fantastic breakfast and Sue went to great lengths to ensure that we were pointed in the right direction for our days visits.
We absolutely recommend this Guest House and we will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: We saw three of the rooms and they were all lovely

“I don't know where else you could gets such fantastic value and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

We chose this guesthouse after seeing Sue Dodds on "Four in a Bed" and wanted to take our Jack Russell for a short break. From the first phone call until we left, she made us all ( especially the dog) feel like special guests. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and incredible value for money. NOTHING is too much trouble. When we asked if she minded us eating fish and chips in the room, she offered to provide crockery and cutlery! We went out to eat and left our dog in our room leaving our number in case he was distressed. She didn't want to disturb us so when we returned we found she had taken him into her own living quarters and was sitting with him in front of the fire and TV. He was so upset to leave and instantly fell in love with her.

Smoking and animals are allowed in the room but there is no evidence of this. No animal hairs and no smells of animals or smoke

The breakfast was cooked to order and great quality. She even gave our dog a sausage for his breakfast each day.

There are lots of little touches. Dog bowls and treats in the room, umbrellas, bags, sewing kits, indigestion tablets and the usual toiletries. A huge comfortable bed with lots of pillows and a large flat screen TV as standard.

I would advise anyone to stay as it's well located and Sue couldn't be more helpful or concerned to ensure that our needs were met.

She made a huge fuss of our dog when we arrived, gave him a cuddle and took his photo when we left. Seashells is a superb asset for dog owners and a hidden pearl in a town with so much competition.

“Last minute booking but great choice!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

After searching the internet for a place to stay in Great Yarmouth, we came across Seashells. Fell in love straight away with the room we booked,

On arrival we were greeted by Sue with welcome arms & a happy face, which instantly made us feel at home. She showed us to our room 'The Latte Room' which was outstanding, clean tidy & very homely.

The breakfast & service was amazing, as was the nights sleep, with not a peep from any resident pooches.

Sue recommended places for us to go & dine, she was very helpful to all enquirys.

We will definitly be booking again in the near future...
Cant Wait!!! :)

Room Tip: Latte Room - Great

This time I stayed in the poppy room which was lovely and had a nice large bathroom with lots of extra treats. the bed was super comfy and everything you need and more is catered for in the room. Breakfast was delicious, both me and my friend agreed the quality was high.

“Proper Seaside B&B with proper Seaside welcome”

Wanted to give the hubby a great Birthday pressie, so chose Gt yarmouth with meals and show. Found Seashells and couldn't have been better looked after. Being a severe Asthmatic, I was unable to tolerate many oddities of everyday life, and ensured Seashells understood this. On arrival, were given Poppy room, which had been kept well aired and cleaned. Room was clean and comfy, not huge, adequate for 3 stars. Happy to realise all amenities as expected. Although animals are allowed at Seashells, I was not affected throughout my stay. Sue runs a clean, comfortable and very happy ship Enjoyed her company and that of her babies, the woofers, who were so quiet, you never realised their presence!! On my return, shall seek Sue out. Thanks Sue for a lovely weekend.
