“What a fantastic place!!! Idyllic.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

We found this delightful B&B by chance to break up the journey on the way to our holiday to Devon. We loved it so much we cut our stay in Devon short (the accomodation was so dire) to finish our holiday on a high note.
We were made to feel so at home by Victoria and Geoffery and found it to be most relaxing and welcoming. This is a working farm and were allowed to visit the horses and play with the dogs. Our 4 year old daughter made herself quite at home following the dogs into the kitchen and offering Hector (cutest dog) loads of cuddles.
Breakfast was delicious. The area is rural with some fantastic pubs (hosts will recommend and book) set in beautiful country side. There is not a sound to be heard at night.
An absolute must for anyone wanting "to get away from it all" or tourists wanting a taste of "ye olde England". We look forward to visiting again soon.

Jackie

“A great experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2011

Travelling solo is not always easy, but this was the most relaxing stay in a bed and breakfast I have ever had. The surroundings and the farmhouse are beautiful of course, but it is the attention to detail which really matters. The Manor Farm has fresh flowers in the rooms, snowy bedlinen, lashings of hot water, plenty of good quality books and magazines for guests - in short it is a real "indulge yourself" experience. Planned just to be a stop on the way to my "real" holiday, it became without doubt a very special part of the holiday itself.

“A Warm Welcome and a Wonderful Stay”

The warmth of the welcome I received set me up nicely for a one night stay in gorgeous surroundings, with a great room and sumptuous breakfast. Victoria and Geoff are charming hosts who instantly make you feel at ease and at home and as for value for money you'll see by my use of superlatives that I feel a got a steal at the price I paid.

Highly recommended.

“The Manor Farm, Alderton is one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 March 2011

We came accross Manor Farm by accident, simply 'Googling' B&Bs in the Cotswolds and found this gem!

We received a lovely warm welcome from Stuart, Victoria (and the dogs!). On the night of arrival, a table was booked for us at a nearby restuarant and that too is a restaurant to recommend.

The Manor Farm has a lovely atmosphere, comfy rooms, a hearty breakfast, lovely location, friendly hosts and I would recommend it to anyone.

Looking forward to our return visit.

“It's not the Manor Farm I know”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2011

Amazed to see a reviewer from Manchester saying the welcome at Manor Farm Alderton was not warm - Jul 10 trip review. Could it be that they had confused the addresses? There are at least two other Manor Farms nearby. I have often stayed at Manor Farm following a personal initial recommendation. It is, without doubt, an excellent B&B and the welcome has always been warm and highly professional. Indeed, both Jeff and Victoria could not be better hosts. Breakfasts are fantastic and set you up for the day. It is a comfortable home and a working farin and on at which I have always enjoyed staying whether for work or pleasure.
