I stayed at the Sampsons Farm for a week as I regularly visit the area on business, as a young woman travelling alone, i found this to be the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The family go out of their way to make you feel at home, nothing is too much trouble, all the staff are welcoming and very friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean, considering you are on a working farm, very quiet also! The restaurant is worth a visit even if you aren't staying in the hotel, absolutely wonderful food, maybe a little pricey, but well worth it! Hoping to come back to the area soon, just to stay here again! Absoultely fantastic.
