We just got back from Devon where we attended a wedding.
This hotel was one of the choices given by the wedding party, so we decided to go for it.
For the price you pay, you expect something more than what this hotel provides.
Our room was small, dark and the only 'view' we had was overlooking the roof of the building, very depressing. The bed is too small for a double room, the linen quite old.
We also had an experience with the rudeness of staff during breakfast, so we decided not to have breakfast in the hotel the second morning.
The walls of the hotel are too thin, you can hear people talking, doors banging and people walking. Not very good!
We felt that the hotel was taking advantage of the wedding guests by not providing good value for money.
If you have a choice, then stay somewhere else!

Perfectly acceptable 2 star hotel on the edge of Dartmoor. A little dated, but crucially, clean and tidy while food and service could not be faulted. Nice also to have a small gym and good little swimming pool. For the money, really cant fault it
