On a night away we came across Amore. It was pouring down with rain so we had a quick look at the menu outside and decided to go in. They were trying to make the restaurant look busy by pushing all the customers into the window area where it was difficult to sit down and even move your arms. It took the waitress 15 minutes before we were offered a drink.
We were then handed the menu. I chose a chicken pasta dish and my partner chose a tomato and tagliatelle dish which according to the menu had been passed down from generation to generation. The food arrived and after one mouthful of the 100 year old recipe we sent it back. It was bland, cold and to be honest we could of picked up a nicer microwaveable meal from the co-op up the road.
The waitress took both mains off the menu without any hesitation (this must happen alot)
Looking around we could see all the other customers looking like they also wanted to send there food back.
The toilets were filthy and smelt of old urine.
Avoid at all costs despite how nice it looks on the outside.
