My wife and I stayed here from 11-13 February 07. We were met by a smile from the Scottish staff at the front desk with a large smile and given appropriate information. It was nice to be greeted by a local rather than someone from another country.

The staff in general were great and nothing was too much bother.For the price we paid the food was excellent and we made much use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The hotel is in a very central position and comfortable. The room was clean and room service excellent. The staff were very accomodating of children too.

If you do not have a car there is a bus stop outside with a reasonable service to Perth and Dundee. If you are more energetic there are some lovely walks in the surrounding area.

We would have no hesitation to returning to The Angus at a future occasion.

We stayed in the Angus between Xmas & new Year and the staff were excellent, the rooms very comfortable and entertainment every night, they catered for every one, from the very young to the very old, the swimming pool was great. the food was brilliant.

We visited the Angus Hotel in Blairgowrie as part of a foursome for Valentine's weekend and really could not fault anything for the price we paid. The food was excellent all weekend including the "Valentine's Dinner Dance" on Saturday evening; the 2 night stay (including champagne and strawberries in the room on arrival) were all terrific and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue, particularly for a "special weekend". In fact, the only downside to our stay was that the rooms are in need of refurbishment in the next season before the hotel loses it's reputation and popularity!
