we actually tried coming here a year or 2 ago and they had a large price list up before you enter the grounds and it put us off completely. however, having looked on-line more recently and from friends recommendations, we decided to give it another try, as we stopped to pay, we heard over the radio of the staff member that we would not be able to see the wolves (one of the females was stressed or nervous and they had to try and calm her down). this didn't put us off as there were plenty other animals to look at. i hadn't realised that we would be driving through an animal enclosure which was a nice surprise. the staff had put out food recently so the animals got quite close and we caught some great pics. the park is much larger than i thought and the price wasn't as expensive as advertised which was even better! if you are passing aviemore and a tourist info spot, then it's worth picking up a leaflet as they give you £1 off (i know it's not a fortune but it's better than nothing!). there is a childrens play park with zip line which is fun but i found the refreshment shop extremely expensive - £3.50 for 2 cans of irn bru and a carton of fresh orange!!! hence we skipped the cafe for lunch and went elsewhere. well worth a visit though.
