we stayed here overnight on a weekend break to devon. this is a very homely bed and breakfast with fantastic views of the sea.

the owners are very pleasant and make you feel very welcome. we stayed on a very cold and windy march weekend but the lady put a heater in our room once the tourist office had told her we were on our way so it was nice and warm when we arrived.

breakfast was lovely.

im not sure its a big enough hotel with the facilities to stay for more than a couple of nights but for a one or two night break this is a great place to stay.

we can recommend the ilfracombe tandoori a couple of minutes walk from the hotel!!

This is are third stay and we feel like old friends instead of customers.
Last nights evening meal was fantastic sharon really does go the extra mile, green lipped muscels especially nice!!
we cant recomend this hotel highly enough.

Nice room, superb view and a delicious breakfast.
Very handy for the Lundy Island ferry as there is a shortcut to the harbour.

We have just returned from a two night, bed and breakfast, stay at the Collingdale. The hotel was very pleasant. We were lucky enough to book the last king-size room, unfortunately it was on the third floor. Quite a trek up and down several flights of stairs but the view from the room overlooking the harbour was breathtaking. Breakfast was extremely good with a good selection and freshly cooked. Overall a friendly, welcoming hotel to stay in, just check what floor you are staying on.
