Just returned from a two night break at this hotel. Had a nice kingsize room with lovely views.

Breakfast was very good - lots of choice and lovely cooked breakfast (especially the bacon). Location is also very good - only a 10min walk to the quayside in Ilfracombe.

Sharon was very helpful giving us advice on parking and also the Victorian festival.

I would definitely recommend it for a short break on the coast.

We have just returned from a family weekend at the Collingdale. Sharon and Daryl were terrific hosts and really looked after us during our stay. I would have no hestitation in recommending this hotel to stay at and your certainly be treated to a wonderful breakfast to start your day. Also, would recommend booking one of the rooms with a view, which is very beautiful.
Thank you once again Sharon and Daryl for a most memorable stay. If we are ever in the area again, your hotel will be our first choice!

we stayed here overnight on a weekend break to devon. this is a very homely bed and breakfast with fantastic views of the sea.

the owners are very pleasant and make you feel very welcome. we stayed on a very cold and windy march weekend but the lady put a heater in our room once the tourist office had told her we were on our way so it was nice and warm when we arrived.

breakfast was lovely.

im not sure its a big enough hotel with the facilities to stay for more than a couple of nights but for a one or two night break this is a great place to stay.

we can recommend the ilfracombe tandoori a couple of minutes walk from the hotel!!

This is are third stay and we feel like old friends instead of customers.
Last nights evening meal was fantastic sharon really does go the extra mile, green lipped muscels especially nice!!
we cant recomend this hotel highly enough.
