The hotel was booked as part of a one night, low cost package trip to London.
It was basically OK and did the job. The communal areas such as the reception, bar and lounge areas were pleasant enough - nicely decorated and clean and the staff were pleasant and friendly.
The corridors were tatty, with the walls scuffed, wallpaper worn / torn, but nothing a quick burst of decorating would put right.
The room was an OK size - a bit on the small side, but for one night it wasn't a problem. Bathroom was similarly compact, but overall it was pleasant enough and clean.
If you're wanting a one night stay before flying off somewhere or going somewhere else it's generally OK.
Maybe just one word of warning - the rack rate on the wall was advertising a double room for £145. Since this was part of a package for my stay, I don't know what the company paid, but it definitely wasn't as much as that. If you find yourself paying rack rate, it is definitelty not worth this amount, and I'm sure that there would be other hotels in the Heathrow area which would be better for this amount of money - so either make sure you get a deal better than rack rate, or shop around other hotels.
