Spent a night at the hotel before picking up our son from Heathrow/ Parking was extra to our room charge at £12 per day but easy access from the motorway. Bedroom was good with a very comfortable bed. We could see some planes landing but the noise was minimal and didnt bother us a bit. Nice swimming pool, bubble pool;sauna and steam room. We ate in the hotel in the evening although expensive choice for anything in the surrounding area appeared limited. We got a taxi next morning to the airport which cost approx £2 more than the hotel hoppa bus but very convenient. The only down side was on check out when we were nearly charged an extra £20 for an error to bar bill that we had'nt used and different price to rate quoted on internet site I booked with. This was ammended quickly but if I hadnt queried or we had had amore complicated bill would have been easily missed.

I've written about my Marriott experiences before and once again good old Priceline came up with a great deal for two nights.
I needed to be near Heathrow for an early flight on a Sunday morning and after a difficult week I needed to relax too.
Marriott fills that bill. Check in was fast and efficient.
My room was just how a good hotel room should be.

My first night I strolled 10 minutes along to the Ibis where they serve half decent buffet food at a very reasonable price till 11pm. The second night I had a pizza (very average at GBP12) in the bar area of the Marriott as the restaurants are just too rich for my blood.
I will always regard charging guests GBP12/ night to park their car in the hotel car park as "nickel and diming' but all the hotels in the area do it so I guess that makes it OK.

My single major complaint about Marriott is that you MUST check your bill. I have consistently had more issues with incorrect bills at Marriotts (see my other reviews) than any other hotel. The bill under the door on Sunday morning bore no resemblance to what my bill should have been and I called down to ensure that they rectified it before I got to check-out. Happily all was resolved but I do wonder what happens when guests in a hurry fail to do this before departure? I foot my own expenses these days and am now ultra careful.

It's still a nice hotel.

“Keenly priced airport hotel”

Marriott London Heathrow

We stayed in this hotel for one night prior to a fight to Nice, we feel it was excellent value for money and included 15 days on site parking.

I had a little concern about finding the hotel but I need not have worried, it was easy to find and well placed on the Bath Road. It is a short taxi journey from the hotel to the airport; the hotel arranged this for us. The taxi cost us £10.00 which took less than 10 minutes but it was 05:30am with little traffic about. The journey back took much longer but it was rush hour. So watch out if you are on a tight schedule.

Check in was efficient, staff were welcoming and informative.

The room at this hotel was one of the best I have stayed in at Heathrow; I have found hotels in the area to be quite tired with staff to match, the Marriott, however, is not and had no complaints about the accommodation.

The Marriott was comfortable, clean and well maintained, well soundproofed, we had a sound nights sleep, and the bed was comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities, television, in fact everything you need to enable you to have a comfortable relaxing evening prior to a flight.

The bathroom again was well maintained with a good supply of towels and some basic toiletries.

We had an evening meal in the hotel, some reviews say expensive but we did not find this to be the case, as for drinks, we just had a bottle of water and by no means was it as expensive as some.

The Maitre D was warm and attentive and made us feel very special however it is a pity his staff let him down badly, the waiter that should have served us ignored us.
Then another waiter was called to serve and he messed up the order, he did not appear to know what he was doing, however, when food eventually did arrive it was nice and well presented.

If they keep their prices as keen we would certainly use this hotel again and recommend it.

This is one of the better Marriotts I have stayed in. I was suprised and pleased. The staff were very friendly and helpful across the hotel, reception, housekeeping, bar staff, whoever the manager is, they are doing the right thing.

Its a new hotel, but the gym is pretty small, no chance of getting on a cv machine between 7:30 - 8:30 without queueing, and the pool is functional, not fun, but a perfect business hotel.

Executive lounge looked after very well, decent food, drinks always fully stocked, free internet in there as well.

I would stay there again without hesitation.

Checking in was fine, the reception staff were cheerful and set a nice tone for the one night we stayed. Our room was perfectly comfortable (if a little identikit) and had everything you'd expect to need for a one night stopover on your way out of the UK.

Unfortunately, the service at the hotel really let us down. First off, I called down to ask what was open so we could get something to eat (we arrived just after 10 p.m.).

"Nothing, you can order from the night menu..." came a sharp reply.

Looking through the night menu, we noticed that there was a bar supposedly serving meals until 1 a.m. I called down again, spoke to the same member of staff and asked whether they were still serving food.

"Yeah," came the response. Then silence. I asked after what was available.

"Dunno. You just ask at the bar, innit?" said the person at the other end. No niceties, no politeness, nothing.

We did manage to get that (overpriced) meal, though it took far longer to prepare and serve than you'd expect considering the three of us there were the only customers.

It's a real shame, because the room itself was fine. Next time, we'll use a more friendly competitor.
