I often layover at Heathrow on the way back to the states, and have tried several hotels in the area. This time I relied on tripadvisor's advice, and booked the Marriott. It was by far one of the better spots in Heathrow. The room was up to the usual Marriott standard and the restaurant was quite good. My only compliant was that they served everything with ice (how American!) but this appears to be a new trend in London in general.

“Comfortable, relaxing - good start to the holiday”

Stayed here prior to a longhaul flight to indonesia.

Room was very large and looked into the inner couryard, which was a bit odd - there was some natural light but not a huge amount to allow for privacy. The beds were large and comfortable and the room was nicely decorated.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had an evening meal in the retaurant which was somewhat expensive given that it was pretty basic, but I guess an airport hotels charge a premium for such services.

Would recommend this hotel to others, especially as staying here for one night and being allowed to leave my car here for 2 weeks for free was cheaper than just parking in an airport car park!

My wife and I stayed at Marriott London Heathrow before start our holiday in Malaysia. The room was nice and clean big king size bed --- service was great --- breakfast was great choices --- we stayed only 1 night so we tried Allie's American Grille it was nice and very good service but Tuscany Ristorante (Italian) we looked to the menu it is little bit pricey.

The hotel location was great and close to Heathrow Terminal 3 if you take a taxi will cost around £10 net per way.

Finally, if you looking for hotel by Heathrow Airport this hotel is a great place to stay.

As with most people booked for just the one night before a morning flight the next day. There were three of us traveling

The hotel was clean and check in was completed quickly by competent and friendly staff. The room was of a good size overlooking the atrium with two double beds and excellent bedding and pillows. There was a good size bathroom and both this and the room itself were very clean. Tea and coffee were provided in the room and extra supplies were quickly sent when requested. We did not eat in the hotel as we felt the prices were pretty high. The Pub just down the road by the Park Inn provides a much cheaper option.

Access from the airport was simple and what is more completely FREE. from the airport central bus station many normal buses go past the door routes 105,111,285 and a few others and because the hotel is before Harlington Corner there is no charge. Buses are every few minutes even early morning (we waited 5 minutes at 6.00am) and go direct to/from the airport unlike the Hoppa services. The stop from the airport is virtually outside the door but the stop for the airport is a few minutes walk away

As most of these reviews suggest this is a comfortable, well run, international chain hotel. At around £80 for a double room with decent beds, warm, quiet, clean no one can complain. My only gripe is the cost of eating and drinking in any of the places in the hotel. The food was edible but not exciting and the wine mediocre. Take the advice in some of these reviews and go out. We were late, it was raining and we had an early start so eating in sounded attractive; a mistake!
