This hotel is situated in an area blighted by the new runway proposals, and (particularly when approached from the back) the heart sinks! Parts of the hotel and grounds appear to be derelict, whilst others are being refurbished. Meals are horrendously expensive but there seem to be a number of packages (e.g. Room + Breakfast + In House movie) which bring the price down, and the room rate at weekends is verey competitive for the area. There is also an Italian reastaurant over the road and pub food across the main road.

Reception is bright and modern and a relief after the exterior! Rooms were clean and well enough furnished, though on the third floor we were troubled by the ground floor disco until 3.30am. Staff are superficially helpful, and all my four requests to get the in house movie channel working were greeted politely, but without success! There is a good leisure club with pool.

If low room cost and proximity to Heathrow are your prime objectives, this might be for you; but I doubt that I would stay here again.

We stayed here for the third time the night before our flight. Large hotel, helpful staff, nice rooms, some currently being upgraded. The public area refurbishment now seems complete and very stylish it is. The offer a great evening buffet dinner, of good quality and value,. It was French night this time, Italian the time before.

Only one problem beacuse the hotel is the closest to terminals 1,2 and 3, black cab drivers at the airport dont like to take you to the hotel,. I think they would rather wait for a longer journey. Little do they know I always tip well!

So the alternative is the hotel bus, which is ok at £4 each, but the taxi would have probably been cheaper! The taxi's that the htoel organise for you to get to the terminal for your flight are excellent! Usually BWM or Mercedes, they are quick and efficient and not too expensive.

We paid £145 for a twin room for the night on this occasion but previously we paid £99 which is great value.

“Pleasant stay at the Park Inn”

Stayed at the Park Inn for one night prior to a flight from Heathrow.

Check in was fast and courteous. Room on second floor clean and comfortable with separate sitting area. Didn't eat at the hotel on the evening (we went to the Three Magpies pub opposite and had a very reasonable meal). Our package included breakfast which was the average hotel buffet but more than adequate.

Overall a very pleasant stay and an easy way to start your holiday if travelling a long way to Heathrow.

“It is what it is (a passthrough hotel)”

Park Inn Heathrow

Overall, a decent hotel if you are doing business or staying close to the airport. I was here for 3 days doing several meetings and I thought it was decent. Rooms were of average size, not very clean, no alarm clock. Service okay, they didn't go beyond the call of duty. The food was surprisingly good, I recommend the chicken tikka marsala. The hotel bar is also good.

*Note* - If you are considering heading to London more than once, better to stay closer to the city. On average, it will cost you $90 USD to take a car.

Expected the worst but all went well. Parking not difficult. Ten minute wait to check-in. Quite a walk to room, but this was clean and of a good size. Plumbing worked OK. Did not eat at hotel.
