We stayed here as we returned to Gatwick at 4am. It is a very shabby hotel and expensive. Breakfast was average although £15/head. Our door was broken and would not lock (other than from within) so we couldn't leave our luggage when we left the room. When we complained the guy on the desk said "some party you had, hey?" Find a holiday inn express or travelodge.

We've used this hotel on three occasions prior to catching an early flight from Gatwick to start our holiday, and we've bought a week's car parking bundled in with the room rate. I've found this hotel to be very satisfactory for this. Rooms are comfortable, bar meals fine, staff helpful, and shuttle service to the terminal reasonably efficient.

I expect I'll use them a fourth time, the next time I have a 7am flight from Gatwick

Stayed here for one night recently on business. The staff were good and the food was ok. Overall though, this hotel is really of Travelodge standards and is therefore overpriced, I presume due to the location being close to Gatwick airport.
As for the room, it was a warm night and even though I turned the air con down to 16 degrees it was still very warm so I opened the window meaning that it was very nosy as the hotel is next to a busy road. Reading other comments about rooms being cold in winter I think its very likely that the air con is ineffectual.

Like others, I think charging your guests £10 per night for the pleasure of parking in the hotel car park is disgraceful, especially on top of over-inflated room rates!

Used this hotel as an overnight before an early flight.

Eat in the Hub .... fish was fantastic.
