“One of the best places to stay.”

We know Weston-Supe- Mare and Kewstoke so where do you stay in a place which you know will be personal, have a wonderful position, be of the highest quality and yet has a wonderful homely feel?Church House is the place.
From the moment we turned into the drive and parked outside we knew we had chosen very well. When the delightful owners came out to greet us we knew this was going to be a very pleasant stay indeed. I felt less than a paying guest than a friend of the family.
We arrived with friends who live locally and the first question was "would you like a cup of tea?"
We were helped with our luggage, The room was scrupulously clean, bright, had wonderful views over the Bristol Channel and was immaculately and beautifully decorated. It was food for the soul.
The duvets and beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast the next morning was a delight. The attention to detail the owners give to tableware, linen and service is borne out in the breakfast. The homemade bread and marmelade, the eggs fresh from their own chickens, the stylish cafetiere, the fruit was poached with cinnamon and star anise - it gave it a truly exotic and special quality which is typical of our experience there.
It is exceptional value for money as we had just stayed at a Cotswolds Country Hotel which was more expensive and we were just a room number.
We are already planning our next visit to Kewstoke and Church House just to experience this gem of a place again.

We stayed over one night on the way to Cornwall. Beautiful house, loved the decor. Our room was at the very top of the house but it was very tastefully decorated. White walls and white stripped floorboards. Very clean. Wide ranging views and the sea in the distance. fantastic breakfast with home produce. Welcoming hosts.

Absolutely excellent value for money. Pity we couldn't say the same for Weston Super Mare, but that's another story!

I could happily live here! Cheerful, unobtrusive hosts go to many lengths to give this 5 star guest house the feel of a Country House Hotel. The tranquil bedroom was spacious, light and well furnished. Big pillows, goose-down duvet; it was like a feature from a house magazine. The breakfast not only consisted of excellent ingredients, it was cooked to perfection and served around a large shared table overlooking the small farm at the foot of the hill - with alpacas, turkeys and the expanse of coastline in the distance. Perfect. I would prefer to stay here than any 4 star and almost any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in!

We had a wonderful time when we stayed over Easter. The owners were very welcoming, and the setting extremely peaceful.
The room was lovely and the bathroom huge. The breakfast was plentiful, with lots of choice and lovely homemade jams and marmalade.
All in all a great experience and we hope to go back.

The visit to Church House was to be merely a stop-over en route south. We only wish we had realised what a gem it is. We could have stayed longer. It is extremely comfortable, the atmosphere is friendly and warming. It was a pleasure to be made so welcome in this extremely well appointed establishment.
Even the cats and dog make one feel at home.
All in all Church House is more than a B & B, it is a relaxing experience.
