Our family loved this homey restaurant with its small-town feeling. We went here 2 days in a row to eat breakfast on the patio with its hanging flower baskets and friendly servers. The portions were generous, service was speedy and the prices were very reasonable. My husband rarely gets his eggs "poached medium" the way he likes but this place got it right! Their bread was fresh from a local bakery and the flax bread that we chose for our toast was excellent.
They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Had we been in the vicinity, we would have liked to have stopped in for a mid-day slice of their homemade pie. It was a surprisingly mixed crowd at this restaurant -- families, seniors, romantic couples, bikers, a group of young women celebrating a birthday over brunch and cocktails, etc.
