besides the repat of my fabulous experiences of many moons ago, my son joined me in this trip, now 22, and been here when he was 10. we were all over the moon happy with this place. as a Kur ord, a Spa place, it is still great for children, perhaps now even more than 20 years ago, more families were seen and all loved this place, all were people that came back. I think it is very affordable for what one gets, the food is fabulous, the staff is out of this world, the service is very well, they did not change a bit, O yes the rooms were upgraded and the Spa is new and fits 2014 for sure, but the service is as it was, as it should be and I hope will be for many mons to come. It was nice to receive a lunch package for on the way out to our next destination, we stayed for 8 nights, for me a place to keep and not forget

Room tip: does not matter which room you stay, they are alll perfect, do what fits your wallet and you will not be disappointed

THANKS! Thank you very much-- and sincerely-- for this testimonial of trust and respect. We believe in families and in the youth who will be our guests of tomorrow. For this reason, our "family" policy is particularly motivating, and for this reason your review is so appreciated by us: it pays us back for our commitment, and inspires us to continue to improve.

We would like to say a warm "thank you" to everyone at the Abano Ritz where we recently spent a delightful holiday.
We had half board and the food was consistently excellent with selections that you would only expect from a gourmet restaurant. One night, for example, I had quail and on another fried brains (I know it's not to everyone's taste, but I like the unusual when it's well prepared).
The breakfast buffet always had fresh cut and peeled fruit, an excellent selection of fresh breads, rolls, pastries and cakes, Italian sliced meats and cheeses and more.
The cappuccinos were made by a barista, not a machine.
The service was first class.
We had an "elegant" large room with a huge, comfortable king size bed.
They even had a classical concert evening with an excellent local classical pianist who played some very beautiful and difficult works by Beethoven and Chopin in an elegant room decorated with amazing chandeliers made of Murano glass.
It is also a spa with large half-olympic size pools, fitness facilities, massages, pedicures and special volcanic mud baths.
To top it all off, the owner, an elegant lady herself, greeted us on the last night of our stay and said she would have some sandwiches and fruit for us ready in the morning to take along for our journey home. That's what I call class.
Highly recommended!

This is a very charming hotel with perfect service, smiling stuff and great food, perfect wines and great variety of menu. Only for breakfast we missed more choice on italian products (gorgonzola, prosciutto crudo) and also some vegetables. But typical italian breakfast is sweet, fruit and coffe, so for couple of days it was OK:))

We were travelling to Venice and decided to stay in Abano Terme ,as we wanted to spend some time in Padova en-route.
The Abano Ritz is in no way related to the Ritz, but it's an interesting 60's style hotel with the most wonderful outdoor water facilities and a good spa.
Do indulge in a massage. We had a totally body massage and it was superb.
Abano is a quirky little town with some great restaurants and very accessible to Padova and Venice.
We paid more for coffee's on St. Marks Sq. than we did for dinner in Abano.
Padova is locally called The little Sister of Venice. Personally I prefer it to Venice.
Great food, good shopping and very few tourists following Flags !!
Oh and it's excellent value for money. Cheap.

We believe that luxury is for everyone and we are really happy that you have happened to discover us. The hotel was built by my father in 1967 precisely.

Quirky but excellent hotel with fabulous outdoor and indoor thermal pools. We have been visiting this hotel two or three times a year for many years and keep coming back because we like the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly service and comfortable beds. We love the breakfast, the after dinner drinks in the beautiful lobby.
