We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay. The hotel is right on the lake front and our top floor room (there is a lift) had a wonderful view in two directions, with the main windows overlooking the lake (well worth the extra). The room was of a good size, and kept very clean. The only noise we ever heard was from the lake front being cleaned every morning at 7 (so no litter to be seen). The service from all the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a buffet of fruit juices, cereals, stewed fruit, ham, cheese, breads/biscuits and various spreads, and cakes/croissants - and they will provide a cooked breakfast if wanted. We had our evening meals in the hotel all week also, and although the choice was limited, we were treated to an excellent Italian meal each day - nicely cooked and presented. One can eat inside or out, as weather permits
The hotel looks somewhat unprepossessing, with limited space in the public area on the ground floor, and there is no pool. However for us, the food, view and service more than made up for this - we were in any case too early in the season for an outdoor pool.
The hotel arranged (free) transfers from Brescia airport (they do Verona also), and the public transport (boat and bus) from Garda is excellent, making it a good base to explore the region. The town itself has an attractive frontage on the lake, and is just at the start of the mountainous area.
