This is the first time I write a rewiew but I think we have to contribute to the develpement of realy good places. We were six people and we booked by email the apartment "Il Laghetto" for six days. The apartment was new, clean, very well equipped and large more than enough for six people, with those small details that make the stay confortable like the good pressure of heat water in the shower or the good operation of the heating when outside it was -5ºC. It has some diferents apartamen and B&B too; swiming pool, restaurant, etc, etc. It is situated in the countryside so it is a very quite place but, at the same time it is at only 5 kms form Orvieto. From there you can visit all the umbria region or even tuscany. We were in Florence, Arezzo, Perugia, Asisi, Spoleto...and all of them, except Florence, are a one hour drive at most.The staff was very friendly although we have contac with them only at the arrival and the departure (we were all the days visiting the region and we were at the apartment only at night)

We stayed at Agriturismo La Rocca Orvieto in June. The property is surrounded by vinyard and rolling hills. The accommodation is beautiful. The room is very spacious with super big bathroom. Dinner there was great and dinning room has a fantastic view of the country side. The owners are gracious host and hostess. We really enjoyed our stay and we definitely would like to go back there and stay longer next itme.
