We have just returned from positano and our holiday at covo dei saraceni was indimenticabile.'The hotel, one of the most beautiful visited in Italy, staff, everything, gentle and always smiling and services offered all excellent level. A special mention for the head waiter Arturo, who throughout the week of vacation we did sample the delights more typical of the place, combining with wines that we even knew, always good, always with courtesy and professionalism. Special thanks to Manager for having been able to take the high professional standard.

We married in positano in May and stayed here for a week. For the price, it is by far the best hotel in town. The rooms are quite basic but theyre nice. Its very traditional italian but thats what made it special.

The lcoation serioulsy could not be beaten. You literally come out of the door and you are on the beach. I looked at every hotel in town and spent hours researching them... this really is the best for price and location! All of the other top hotels are some way up the hill, they may have more modern rooms but none of them will have a swimming pool overlooking the beach!!

Breakfast basic. We didnt eat in the restaurnt but we did in the coffee bar below and the food was great.

My partner and I stayed here recently for 4 nights and we were not disappointed! Everything about this hotel was great....the location (right on the main beach with cafes, shops & restaurants on your door step), the pool & poolside bar (large pool and deck overlooking the water...take a look at my photos), the service was great and the price of the hotel too!! This hotel costs half that of many of the other hotels in town and I really think it's one of the best. The rooms are simple (think 3 star) but large enough and all rooms (i think) have a balcony overlooking the beach & ocean. Everything else about this place is 5 star!!
The restaurant at the hotel is a little pricy but if you want to escape all the tourist trap restaurants on the main beachfront walk past the Covo dei Saraceni, along the cliff side (easy 5 min walk) to the next beach and dine at Hotel Pupetto. It's a simple place but with killer views. The food was some of the tastiest we had and very reasonably priced too (compared to restaurants in Positano that is!!)

I booked this hotel after reading Trip advisor reviews. This hotel did not disappoint. This was a great location, near the base of town, with views of the landscape and ocean. The pool was the best part- the only one in this price range that had a rooftop pool. The service was fabulous and the food was delicious. We walked by Le Sirenuse and we liked our location better for half the price. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the water- worth the extra $$. The room was clean, good size and the bathroom was good (although shower stall was small.) We slept with the balcony door open to the sound of waves crashing! We spent 3 days and 3 nights here with one day trip to Ravello- the scariest drive of my life. After touring all of Tuscany/ florence for 7 days we were happy to relax by the pool for a few days.
