We first booked 4 nights at Liostasi, but then extended it by another 3 nights. Our room rate was reduced from EUR110 to EUR77 (-30%) and we got a room with seaview (Sunset view). The staff were very friendly and helpful both at front desk and in the bar/restaurant. While the hotel room was relatively simple, like in most other greek hotels/rooms we stayed at, it was very clean and well kept. The hotel is very well designed in terms of layout and decoration and furniture, and you won't be disappointed as compared to the website's pictures. We enjoyed every day we stayed there. The pool is very clean and big as well and the view from the main hotel area across the bay and towards the sunset is really great. Tried the food of the restaurant one night and it was really good (fresh fish of the day), even if a bit on the expensive side. The bar menu might look a bit pricey too but is really very much in line with what you would pay in a club (EUR12 for a cocktail), but i felt was much more worth it at the hotel with its comfortable and friendly ambiance. I cannot recommend the hotel enough. Great value for money. Best place we stayed at in our 3 weeks in Greece.

I will begin by saying that this hotel has nice rooms and a very pleasant pool with a view, but the food is terrible, and the SPA is absolutely aweful. The spa is so small that you can barely fit a message table in there, and then they charge you 10 euro to use the Jacuzzi. I actually only stayed one night (24 hours actually), and was glad to be leaving. There are other places to go...

I came to stay at the Liostasi last Summer with 2 girlfriends on the recommendations from this website and their own lovely-looking website. In terms of the accommodation and the view it did not disappoint. It is very pretty, the rooms are nice, the view is spectacular and it is an all round very nice hotel. But what really prevents it from being an amazing hotel are the surly staff. It is quite small and we spent all our days by the pool, so we were constantly surrounded by them! The guy on reception is really moody and the girl at the bar looks like she's doing you a favour every time she gives you a drink. For such a small place on a party island like this, you want a chilled, friendly atmosphere. But the atmosphere was really cold and it made us feel quite uncomfortable here. So if you're reading this Liostasi, cheer up and be a bit more welcoming and you could have a truly top notch hotel on your hands!

We loved this hotel in Ios. The bus system here is very easy to master (up & down hill) so you don't have to rent a moped to get around. It's great to hop on and explore the beaches or the port. The restaurants in town (especially the Italian place!) were excellent, and the overall ambiance at night is very peaceful. The pool area is nice, and breakfast is good (and included in the price, which is reasonable). The only downside is that dinner is not available at the hotel pool, only bar snacks. The hotel also offers internet access and a Spa, which is highly recommended. The room was air conditioned and clean, with a balcony and a beautiful view of the pool. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family, enjoy!
