Diva Hotel has a good location in Val Claret - it is less than a minute's walk from a number of chairlifts, and a few steps away there is a convenience store and a bar with free wi-fi. The main facilities we used at the hotel were the fitness room (a bit exhausting after a day of skiing to be honest!), the safe deposit boxes (in a secure room behind reception), the bar and the restaurant. All of the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.
We asked for a room for 3 people and we got essentially a double room with a sofa bed, although this was okay - we didn't need a huge room and I'm told the sofa bed was perfectly comfortable. We didn't think much of the room's ventilation though. All three of us found it stuffy overnight and thus we didn't sleep brilliantly. In the end we resorted to leaving the balcony door open overnight, which helped but obviously got cold.
I had no problem with the breakfasts and dinners (we were half board). The dinners in particularly were quite nice for a buffet, with a different selection of main meals served every night. The dessert selection was also good, including various tarts. We spent our last night dining in Le Chaudron, the "local speciality" restaurant where we were entitled to one night free as part of our stay. It was quite a weird experience as the place was very empty, but it was worth trying out for the variety.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Diva and would stay again. It's nothing fancy, but is a good comfortable base for your skiing trip.
