I spend a weekend with my husband in the Buchhorner Hof and we were delighted about the great location, the service and especially the dinner in the very cosy restaurant.

We had a very comfortable and spacious room in the hotel, which was very clean and well designed.

The hotel is located close to the city center and has a very nice bar for the good night drink ;o)

The stuff at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

I would recommend the place for everybody, business or holiday!

Stayed at this hotel and while the location was good and the town was charming, this hotel was not so good. The room was so small I could touch one wall with my hand and the opposite wall with my foot. No A/C and a tiny window high up on the wall that I could not look out of. Also they were very skimpy on towels. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good and was the highlight of the stay.

We had a large, comfortable room at this hotel. We were there in June and it was warmer than expected. The Bucchorner Hof has air conditioning, which is not available in many German hotels. The staff is pleasant and a nice breakfast buffet is provided. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant one night and had one of the best meals of our trip.

My boyfriend and I stayed here last september on our little road trip through Europe. I had never been to Germany before but as our trip continued I got more and more impressed with the country! After a very good stay in Cochem, day trip to the Nurburg ring, cheapy hotel nr Stuttgart, this hotel carried on my good impressions! We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel but after a quick phonecall we arrived at the hotel.

The staff were soo helpful and friendly. We paid 7 euro for a private garage for the car ( boyfriend is v particular about where he parks it!!) Our room was huge with all nice amenities. We could really spread out which was nice. The bar and receptioin area were really funny....lots of stuffed animals on the walls...its sounds wierd but it really works.

Quirky bar man fixed us up with lots of good beers and g+t`s. There was a really good buzz in the bar so we stayed there for quite a while! we didnt eat in the hotel, but there are lots of resturants just opposite the hotel on the little promenade. As this was just a stopover overnight we didnt see much of Friedrichshafen ( it didnt look much really) but the hotel was great. Check out in the morning was easy. The receptionist really helped us with guidelines for motorway permits on our onward journey to the Italian lakes.

10/10. Great hotel all round.
