Stayed at the Seagoe Hotel on a Saturday night. Absolute bargain at £65 for 2 people inc breakfast. Room was large with a super king size bed, modern and very very quiet. The hotel has long corridors and the rooms are well away from the bar and function room areas. The corridors have lots of double doors and the result is an extremely quiet and peaceful night - brilliant.

I was very surprised to find such a nice hotel in Portadown. Was very impressed and the price was very welcoming. Wouldn't be out of place in a major city.

This hotel almost seems out of place in Portadown. Its the type of place you would expect in a big city. Huge entrance, grand staircase, the BIGGEST room l have EVER seen in my life and a bathroom to match...!
The place seemed almost empty most of the time. Very quiet and given its size, l would be surprised if it ever fills. However come meal time...the place comes to life..!! Cars & peopls come from all directions, which is understandable as the meals are excellent.
I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

I found this to be an excellent hotel. I actually found the staff extremely helpful and loved the relaxing atmosphere in the smart lobby. Rooms were of a very high standard and didn't seem to lack anything. It was reccommended to me to try the restaurant which seemed to be fully booked but the staff managed to fit me in. Well I could see why it was so full - again not a complaint - service and food excellent. Will definitely stay there the next time I have to go over.

Expensive (£70 per night, no breakfast), they tend to ignore e-mails, appear to be generally unfriendly/unhelpful on the telephone.
Everything seems too much bother.

On the otherhand, great Guinness, good food, comfy rooms.

The problem is, there doesnt appear to be any other reasonable alternative accomodation in the area.
