I called here on 21/4/12 at the other restaurant in Gilford Known as "Mill Street" which I believe is owned by the same people as Sax on the street with my family. Just to point out as they dont have a place to review I am commenting here.
We were all dressed up and hadnt tried this place before and on entering at around 715pm was approached by a middled aged man who I can only describe as overbearing and rude He almost forced myself and my family out the door I just came through stating "No Children in this restaurant!, Maybe try our other" ( refering to "Sax on the Street".) I was totally shocked, quickly followed by disgusted. Before I knew it was standing on the street with my family who were also in shock. My children stating, "How offensive". I couldnt believe it!!
Let me just say this. I have never been treated like that anywhere in my life and have taken my family to numerous restaurants over the world and in Northern Ireland. Disgusted and embarrassed. We eat out regularly and I was just home from a trip to Canada and decided to take them out for a meal unbelievable. Avoid at all costs! Dam right ignorant. People like this just have no idea about customer service or even basic courtesy.
