Most has been said in other reviews! Lovely house reeking with character. Beautiful bedroom and ensuite. Superb breakfast. Great location. Definitely will use this again!

Just spent two nights at Desmond House in Kinsale and wholeheartedly concur with all the positive feedback we read on tripadvisor before booking. Michael and Anne are excellent hosts, the breakfasts are too good, the house is very central and the accommodation very comfortable. My family tell me I'm a clean freak, which I must admit is true, so that is always my main priority and I will not compromise. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed, the standard was A+. So go enjoy excellent accommodation, fabulous restaurants and good craic - the only thing you'll be taking a chance on is the weather!!

Had a delightful stay at the Desmond House. Our room was large and lovely, sunny and bright, we could even see a bit of the harbor. Newly re-done bathrooms are excellent. Hosts were helpful and very informative - gave us some great suggestions on walking tours being offered in the town. You can walk to everything. Breakfast was delicious!

We stayed at the Desmond House for one night during a one week driving tour of Ireland. It was a splurge but one definitely worth making. Our room was beautifully decorated with antiques and luxury bedding. The jacuzzi tub was a sight for sore eyes after a long day of driving and touring. It is located just a few blocks from the hustle of Kinsale. Breakfast was delicious.
