The Landfall House was the second best B&B we found in Ireland. Margo was the most cheerful and helpful hostess. The breakfast crepes were fantastic. And her views of the Bandon River was very impressive. Note that the excellent views are beause she is located up a pretty steep walk up from town. But then again Kinsale is a very hilly town.

She gave us some excellent suggestions to enhance our stay in Kinsale which turned out to be our favorite town in Ireland. If you happen to be there for the Farmers Market, check it out. Also, the walking tour around town was well worth the 7 Euros. And don't miss a trip to Charles Fort. A lot of ups and downs to get there but well worth it.

We had the good fortune of staying with Margo and her family on our first visit to Ireland. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. The home is located in a residential neighborhood a minute or two from the center city of Kinsale on a quiet street overlooking the beautiful Bay of Kinsale. The home is well maintained and has a beautiful patio and garden overlooking the Bay. Our triple room was large, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. For our made-to-order breakfast, there was a wide selection to choose from, all the way from crepes to the traditional Irish breakfast, and it was highlighted by freshly baked pastries and bread still warm from the oven. On top of all that, Margo could not have been friendlier or more charming. We highly recommend Landfall House to anyone looking for accommodations in the Kinsale area.

I chose to describe this B&B as charming but somehow that even seems an understatement, I really could use a whole dictionary full of positive words to describe this wonderful home.

The days we stayed, We were entertained by Margo's three children. They supervised our whole stay. Each one made us feel equally welcome and were so kind and hospitable.
They All made a concious effort to ensure our stay was made warm and inviting. Daniel cooks a mean Irish, Jamie was always on hand for some much appreciated advice - even for food in the pub where he works! while Eemar was our route planner giving us concise and great directions to our next destination.

We really felt like we had such a great experience of Kinsale. The decor is modern, the rooms spacious,the views spectacular and the service impeccable - surely thats what we all look for in a great holiday?

In a fantastic location close to the town, I would highly recommend Landfall House to anyone. The owners are so friendly and the house and bedrooms are immaculate. The atmosphere is relaxed and breakfasts are great. We will definitely be back!
