We spent our first night in Ireland at the Dubhlinn House and loved it! Joan and Martin were wonderful hosts. They suggested a very nice pub in town for dinner and real Irish music (which I believe was the only time we heard authentic Irish music on the whole trip.)

There was a nice view from our room and the room itself was spacious. In the morning we enjoyed a "full Irish" breakfast. They had a variety of choices and the meal was really good.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great. We had planned on a cruise to the Aran Islands, but the ferries weren't running. Joan suggested a nice drive up the coast and a restaurant to stop at for lunch. I appreciated that she took the time to help us come up with an alternative plan. And she also reviewed the map with us- which was really helpful because driving around Ireland can be very confusing.

Doolin was a great way to start our trip (despite the disappointing weather) and the Dubhlinn House was a warm, welcoming place to stay.

Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts! Made our stay in Doolin very enjoyable. We received a warm welcome, a delicious breakfast, and enjoyed very comfortable rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay at this b and b; Joan and Martin were the friendliest and most helpful hosts that we encountered on our trip to Ireland.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, and my husband complimented the breakfasts, also. (I unfortunately am not hungry in the morning.
This is a very walkable distance from all pubs/shops, but bring a flashlight as it is very dark at night.

We liked our stay at Dubhlinn House very much. The rooms are nicely decorated although from outside the house looks a bit scruffy. The owners were very friendly. Martin told us a lot about Doolin. That was very nice. Breakfast was excellent (salmon, mackerel......). GREAT! It´s a pity that they don´t have any pavements in Doolin and that it is a bit dangerous for walkers.
