Dubhlinn House was a sparkling clean, charming B&B in a perfect location in lower Doolin. Martin and Joan were very helpful, offered wonderful suggestions, and our stay was very comfortable.

Dubhlinn House is a clean, pretty B+B in picturesque Doolin. Terrific location on a side street (quieter), but within easy walking distance of everywhere in town. The hosts, Martin and Joan, both went out of their way to make us comfortable. Their recommendations for restaurants, pubs and sites were terrific and appreciated. The best Irish breakfast in the country! We would stay there again without hesitation.

We spent our first night in Ireland at the Dubhlinn House and loved it! Joan and Martin were wonderful hosts. They suggested a very nice pub in town for dinner and real Irish music (which I believe was the only time we heard authentic Irish music on the whole trip.)

There was a nice view from our room and the room itself was spacious. In the morning we enjoyed a "full Irish" breakfast. They had a variety of choices and the meal was really good.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great. We had planned on a cruise to the Aran Islands, but the ferries weren't running. Joan suggested a nice drive up the coast and a restaurant to stop at for lunch. I appreciated that she took the time to help us come up with an alternative plan. And she also reviewed the map with us- which was really helpful because driving around Ireland can be very confusing.

Doolin was a great way to start our trip (despite the disappointing weather) and the Dubhlinn House was a warm, welcoming place to stay.
