Stayed at this hotel with family of 2 adults and 2 children. Traveled to Paris CDG by Air france, booked private pick up from airport to save time. This was an added advantage as there was no queuing just straight out of the baggage claim and into a waiting Mercedes Van this added to the excitement of our trip. Arrived at the hotel an was pleased with accommodation. Please note this is NOT a Disney hotel and on the theme of a ship, so those looking for the magic of Mickey Mouse to continue after the parks close this is not for you. We preferred this as it was a pleasant change after being in Disney all day. Booked a crew room for 6 to give us extra space which was great. Room had a double bed, two singles, a separate bathroom and toilet and another small room with two bunk beds, the kids loved this. They had a huge draw each under neath the bunks which they piled all there things in and a TV of there own. This also gave alittle more privacy for out teenage son who wanted time away from his little sister. There are two restaurants, one all you can eat buffet and the other al carte which serves very good mussels, this is probably the quietest place in the hotel as it gets very busy with lots of small children. There is also a pizza take away open at night and a coffee shop open throughout the day. A swimming pool with a slide that is open from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm with a dragon slide. A play area and a kids type play gym, a pirate ship play area in the center of the hotel to keep kids more than happy. The smuggler tavern pub is open in the evenings with a happy hour on cocktails from 8.00pm to 9.00pm this gets busy around this time so get there early. Breakfast was plenty full served buffet style which we had no complaints about but if you do want full english its an extra 6 euros. It does get busy between 8.30 and 9.30 so try and go before or after those times. Disney buses stop right outside the hotel and come every 10 minutes, they do get full but its only a 10 minute max ride and theres always another one just around the corner and there free. Once at the parks theres plenty to do for all the family, we were lucky the only two rides had to wait along time for were Thunder mountain and Crushes coaster, these are the two most popular rides and we waited 45 minutes but moved along all the time. The shows are fantastic, Stitch live was very funny, stunt show amazing and Tarzan was loved by all. Disney Village has restaurants and a wild west show to choose from, we went to Rain forest Cafe and Planet Hollywood both great but expensive. Went to Val de Europe shopping center which is one stop on the train and had an excellent meal in a Chinese restaurant there, nice place to visit with lots of shops and the food is cheaper than Disney. Did Paris by night tour which was great would recommend this to anyone, left Disney's New York Hotel at 9.00pm and didn't get back until 12.30 am. Great way to see all the sights and the Eiffel tower was fantastic lit up if you want to see Paris this is a great way to do it. We had a fantastic holiday even out 15 year old enjoyed it and he thought he was too old for Disney. Paris is a great place but very expensive.
