Just returned from a week stay at the dream hotel near disneyland. Really enjoyed our stay. I was travewlling with my wife and 4 year old daughter. To be honest you spend most your time in the Disney parcs so spend little time in the hotel. The hotel was very clean lovely big rooms with lovely view of gardens to the rear. Swimming pool is small but my daughter loved it none the less. There is a free courtesy bus running every ten minutes to the disney parcs from 8am till midnight. The bus is a experience dont bother queing join the others and join the scrum when it arrives. Unfortunatly as with most places that attracts visitors from all over the world peoples ideas about ques and manners differ. A top tip is to catch the bus at the neighbouring My Teavel Explorers hotel less than 5 mins walk its the first stop so quaranteed to get on. The Hotel is very expensive but that has to be exspected as its the same everywere around the disney parcs. Another tip if you enjoy a pint go to the Explorers hotel next door 9pm till 10pm buy one get one free and better athmosphere. Overall cant fault the hotel very enjoyable stay would defentley go again.

“Middle of the road hotel, not a 4*”

Dream Castle Hotel

9 Jul 2008

Summary: Ok hotel 3.5* circa, Beware of Disney prices....Loved the characters!

Shuttle was every 15mins to Disneyland park which was fab, bar prices in hotel were atronomical though!! Bedrooms were ok, very clean, recepetion took loooooong to check in and out as there was only 1 person on, even in Easter Holidays - so its a :-( for service.

The theme park was ok, characters were fab to see, but would not recommend disneyland paris overall, expensive, (Dinner in Rainforest cafe for 1 starter, 2 mains and 2 coronas was £75!) Food for this price u would expect to be outstanding, but it was average!, And theres not many decent rides at Disneyland - Alton Towers is better, even for children!

Disney Village came to life at night, a few good bars, but as we said, beware of price and being stung - not a place for people on a budget - u have been warned!!

Overall we had an amazing time, but were just out of pocket for the rest of the month!!

We stayed at the Dream Castle on a trip to Euro-Disney. Check in was really slow when we arrived with kids after quite a long day travelling. We waited 45 mins to be checked in and given our room keys. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, had one evening meal that was also good. Drinks very expensive. Hotel lobby loved by kids as small ball pool and small coin rides. Disney shop great. Shuttle bus ran every 10 mins which was a real bonus (I think the paperwork said every 20 mins).

Just returned from 3 nights in Dreamcastle. Arrival was totally unwelcoming and truely unhelpful. The rooms are really small for family rooms ( if you need a cot you wil have no room to move) but clean. Had noisy room at front close to bus arrivals area. The staff really do not want to see you or hear from you.

Breakfast is a fiasco and is a one star grade accept for the fruit salad which is palatable.Nothing on the tables accept sugar - get everything yourself spoons ,cups, serviettes etc.Kids could not even eat the cereal. The hot food is easily the worse i have experienced and i am an experienced hotel traveller throughout Europe. Some poor child will get scalded in the future with hot drinks carried everywhere by adults with tons of kids at their feet.Serious overcrowding in this area and little help from the staff. I really never experienced anything like this on 4 continents and 22 countries visited.

Other than the Disney shop at the front door there is little other sign that this has anything to do with Eurodisney - a token Lion King appears for a few mins during breakfast much to the joy of the kids.Evening buffet and drinks is really expensive - you have plenty of choices outside of the hotel.Stay in a hotel closer to the resort which has more of a Disney feel about it

Disney is great when you eventually get to the top of the Q. YOU will spend most of your day in a Q - even with fastpass.GO OFF SEASON - you will have a much better time and see much more. Wed and thur were great but the crowds on fri/ sat were crazy.

Our travel agent booked us through the VEA bus company from the airport to the hotel - a real disaster . 102 mins exactly from joining the Q at Charles de Gaulle to when the bus left the airport. Staff really unpleasant.Taxi is 80 euros and many taxis have mini buses that will take two families and share the cost .

Our return Vea bus did not turn up at the hotel - then went to bus depot to get bus there which again did not turn up and after 28 mins after the appointed time on time table we shared a taxi to the airport for less than the cost of the bus! we were due to be collected at the hotel at 610 and got a taxi at 718 we had to get a taxi to the airport or we would have missed our flight. friends found the rail option a great service also but for your sanity avoid the VEA buses - you have greater other options

Really looking forward to going to eurodisney again but not dreamcastle or vea buses and it will be off season ! . i hope these observations help you to a better experience!!

We loved this hotel! We have a 3 year old who felt so at home she cried when it was time to leave. Yes, people complain about the queues at reception, noisy childrens play area right by reception, breakfast being like a stampede and staff being too impersonal.........well don't stay at a 400 room hotel geared towards kids and expect to get tailor made service!! As for those who complain about the rudeness of guests making up their lunches at breakfast time......well more fool you for paying Disney prices. Thank goodness for the Germans & Dutch eating ham & cheese for breakfast so we can make up sarnies for lunch!! Room was great... shuttle to Disney was great....staff were helpful....hotel facilities great...room was clean and had all we needed (I agree about lack of kettle & coffee making facilities though - my only complaint). I wish all who stay there as happy experience as ours.
